Anyone else see today's C.Rice / Margaret interview on PBS's The Newshour?

Man... I've never seen Margaret get so firm in her questioning...

I'm watching this right now and can't believe what I am hearning... Rice is flat out saying attempts to talk with Iran are over.

Margaret really let her have it with some history questions in reference to past ways we dealt with countries in similar situations.

Are we getting ready to take military action against Iran?

Anyone else see today's C.Rice / Margaret interview on PBS's The Newshour?
Margret recently spent a few weeks in Iran Iraq Lebanon and Jordan. Not just at some ambassador's safe house watching the latest Hollywood film. Margret was in the trenches and the malls.

A impressive journalist

Go big Red Go
Reply:Ms Rice flys in takes the limo to the Embasy spends the night at a safe house then leaves.

How does this help anything other than the TV News Report It

Reply:Beachbum I think thats the reason the US has been supposedly spinning its wheels in Iraq and maybe the real reason we are there in the first place. Ahmadinejad knows it too and thats why he started getting so nasty. Iran could have been playing with nukes a long time ago for all we know. what scares me is that he must know something we don't like maybe Russia or China would back him.
Reply:I've haven't seen the PBS Newshour but in response to getting ready to take action question ... We have been getting ready for a while and it is my belief that certain action has already been taken.

This is pasted from Democracy Now.

US to Add Persian Gulf Warships in Display to Iran

The Pentagon has disclosed plans to send more warships and aircraft into the Persian Gulf within striking distance of Iran. Military officials said the deployment is at least partly intended to show the Bush administration’s difficulties in Iraq have not deterred it from maintaining a military watch over the Iranian government.

Another thing. During my stay in America I had the privilege of listen to Mike Gallagher on the radio as I worked the night shift in Hawaii. The right wing media machine is working overtime to make sure that each and every American knows that Iran is the bad guy. This was a big tip off for me as to the Neo Cons vision.
Reply:I sure hope that this leadership doesn't continue this game of "Texas Hold em", because we're getting to the point of ALL IN, and that can't be good.....
Reply:Secretary Rice is really great. She is one tough cookie and she can roll with the punches with such grace and diplomacy.

I'm ready for Iran too. Ahmadinejad is a 2 headed snake straight from the devil himself. He epitomizes evil.
Reply:C. Rice would be a good president. She has the "balls" to stand up and not take any more BS from Iran. If we don't take them out, they are going to hit us and hit us hard. Probably sooner than later. C. Rice and C. Powell, what a team.
Reply:That's why Bush is asking to build up our military... isn't it?

Let's not leave any military action untried, before we have to resort to diplomacy.
Reply:I suppose she was tired of the Administrations tatics of answering questions by talking in circles and never really answering the questions. The media in this country has really given this administration the soft touch. This government in the past has done some of the most idiotic things and I certainly hope bombing Iran is not going to be one of them.
