I don't know if I'm actually going, but it would be fun to put a face to some avatars. :) And no, I wouldn't actually debate. :P It would all be the same old **** anyway, only without the ability to reference BibleGateway.com or Wikipedia. I wonder who's actually personable in "real life." I know I am. *wink*

Reply:I'm something like 16800km away (a bit over ten thousand miles for those of you still living in the dark ages). So I might not make it.
Reply:i sure wish I could go. I'd love to debate on evolution and why we speak so many different languages and why christianity is the only true religion and why global warming is garbage.... man I could debate it all.

Reply:I'm close enough to DC to go - I can drive there in six hours, but my job takes precedence.

Reply:Well, the location would be alright (I live in the DC Metro area), but I'd be more inclined to attend if it was more family-oriented, so we could bring along our SO's and kids.





I think it would be more interesting to arrange, say, a day at the Natural History Museum on the Mall; and let the creationists try to explain away a building's worth of evidence in support of evolution...

Reply:Why bother? It seems both sides want to be know-it-alls and Christians are not to debate anyone about their beliefs. Romans 1:29-32, Romans Chapter 2: 1-5, Psalm 2, Colossians 2:8. True Science is another issue and does compliment the Bible belief system.
