Help me with Virus related question : Windows cannot find 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\ddabc.exe... sure you type t

"Make sure you type the name correctly, and





then try again. To search for a file, click that Start button, and then click Search."








And after clicking OK I get another message as





"Could not load or run 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\ddabc.exe' specified in the registry. Make sure the





file exists on your computer or remove the reference ot it in the registry."








What is this ?





And whether I have to deleted the entry from Registry or leave it..?





This is because of AVG virus vault file or the file I have deleted from virus vault..?





Please help me with solution.

I suggest the following before a reformatting job,





Download and update the avg antivirus and download the spyware doctor below the shut your computer down and restart it and tap the F-8 key repeatedly while the system starts up and select safe mode and run the avg and the spyware doctor while in safe mode, This will catch it so you can remove it,

Windows Advanced Care , This tool will keep your computer running good and you can see the startup programs to help you understand what runs in the startup programs; It also includes a registry cleaner and spyware removal,, It also imunizes your computer against the attcks we face each time we go on the internet Just run it once a day and your worrys are much less,

Here is a very good tool called Winpatrol and it monitors your computer for programs that try to run on your system without your knowlege, This tool also allows you to manage all the startup programs on your computer,, It also warns you if a program tries to run without your permission, I use this software and I recommend it,

do this to see if the files still exist:


start menu


run


type cmd / type the drive u want to check in this case is C:


type attrib -s -h *,*/s/d the press enter key


type dir to check whether it contain unusual .exe file


with autorun.inf.


now you can delete those two files or rename it


in this case autorun.inf into any name u want


trype rename autorun.inf aa + enter key





now you can access the drive C:


without affecting the virus





just delete them that is.


u can do that by typing


"del autorun.inf" and press enter
