I have this reference like book called “The Complete Book of Vitamins” It goes through hundreds of ailments and vitamin cures for them, etc. It claims some remarkable results detoxing heroin addicts with large doses of vitamin c. Being an addict I think this sounds to good to be true. Has anyone else heard such a thing?
Is it true that Vitamin C can curb heroin withdrawal symptoms substantially?
If it sounds too good to be true...Sorry, but no, it isn't true. There have been studies of this conducted at Columbia/Cornell Med, at Rutgers, at Emory University, at N.I.H. and even at the US Army Institute of Surgical Research in San Antonio.
Reply:the trick to any withdraw is water. anything else is false.
other folks claim going to a clinic to get meth is a cure to addiction, however, addiction to meth is still an addiction.
Reply:ibogain , the miracle of Gabon Africa , is the best cure . of course this info is suppressed in the u.s. (not enough profit for DuPont).you must go to Europe to get this med. see article in back issue of rolling stone mag .
